Paramedic
Location: Laramie, Wyoming
Pay Rate: $1,900 to $2,160 /Week
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Varied Shifts | 36 hrs
Experience: Minimum 1 Year of Paramedic Experience Required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Paramedic for a 13-week contract assignment in Laramie, Wyoming. This role provides emergency medical care in the pre-hospital setting, including patient assessment, stabilization, treatment, and transport while practicing within the Wyoming Scope of Practice. The Paramedic will also support patient care within the hospital as assigned and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and provide emergency medical care within the Paramedic scope of practice.
Administer emergency medications and interventions in accordance with established protocols and state regulations.
Document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately using the EPIC EMR and WATRS reporting system.
Maintain ambulances, equipment, and supplies to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety standards.
Assist with patient care in other hospital departments as directed, while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team.
Requirements
Active Wyoming Paramedic License required.
Minimum 1 year of Paramedic experience required.
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and ATT certifications required.
Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
EMT candidates are not eligible for this position.
