Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of residential properties, including structural elements, roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and foundation integrity.
- Review blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project specifications and identify potential issues.
- Conduct quality control and quality inspection assessments to ensure construction standards are met or exceeded.
- Collect detailed data during inspections using standardized forms and digital tools to document findings accurately.
- Analyze inspection results to identify defects, code violations, or safety hazards, providing clear reports for clients and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with construction managers, contractors, and clients to communicate inspection outcomes and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure all inspections comply with local regulations, licensing requirements, and industry best practices.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction inspection or related fields such as construction site management or quality control.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles.
- Familiarity with contracts related to home building or renovation projects.
- Demonstrated analysis skills for evaluating construction quality and identifying issues efficiently.
- Hands-on experience working on construction sites with knowledge of pipeline systems and structural components.
- Previous experience in data collection during inspections using digital tools or software is preferred.

Pay: $52,174.64 - $62,833.97 per year
