Position Summary
This position assists the Circuit Breaker department in the maintenance and repair of circuit breaker systems.
Essential Duties

Provides general entry level support to the Circuit Breaker department.

Assist in the detection of overloading, tripping, discoloration, and damage on breaker house.

Clean connections of corrosion, debris, faulty wiring., and other environmental factors.

Troubleshoot switch gears and buckets.

Troubleshoot for unstable power distribution, inconsistent operation, and improper wiring
-
Assess loads and ensure correct breaker ratings and optimum equipment performance.

Identifies and reports problems observed outside of normal use.

Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to comprehend and follow directions.
-
Knowledge of MSHA and OSHA.
