Duties
- Must understand procedures for tire changes, vehicle lockouts, and jump starts.
- Operate rollback tow trucks to recover, transport, and deliver vehicles across various locations
- Safely load and unload vehicles using flatbed and tow truck equipment following cargo securement protocols
- Manage cargo securement protocols meticulously to prevent damage during transit
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Assist with basic automotive diagnostics and repairs when necessary to troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, inspections, and service logs to ensure compliance with safety standards
Requirements
- Understand this job is a percentage of calls ran and completed in a weeks' time frame. (weekly pay)
- Chance of being ON CALL is high and need to be available 24/7 as this company is on highway patrol rotation.
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE OF 1 YEAR
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating heavy-duty trucks or tow trucks.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, including tire repair skills, lockouts, and jump starts.
- Familiarity with cargo securement protocols and flatbed operations for safe transportation of vehicles.
- Ability to operate safely in hectic environments.
- Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally and calmly
- Excellent customer service skills to represent the company positively during interactions with clients and team members
