Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Experienced Painter / Laborer to join our team. This role involves performing painting tasks and general labor duties to support various construction, renovation, or maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. A valid driver’s license is required to facilitate transportation to job sites and support logistical needs.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and masking as needed
- Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and care
- Assist with surface repairs and minor carpentry tasks when necessary
- Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies at job sites
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal safety and that of team members
- Operate company vehicles to travel between job sites, requiring a valid driver’s license
- Support other labor-related tasks such as demolition, site cleanup, or material handling as directed
Skills
- Proven experience as a painter or laborer in construction or renovation projects
- Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and finishing methods
- Ability to operate basic hand tools and painting equipment effectively
- Good physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license for site travel
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
- Safety-conscious mindset with awareness of proper safety procedures on job sites
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
