Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week)
Shifts Available: Day & Night
Pay: $85/hr to $90/hr
We're seeking experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses to join a high-volume Women's Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to care for mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and immediate postpartum while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum.
- Perform maternal and fetal assessments and continuously monitor patient status.
- Interpret fetal heart rate tracings and respond appropriately to changes in maternal or fetal condition.
- Assist with labor management, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and obstetric emergencies.
- Administer medications and treatments safely according to physician orders.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatal teams, and interdisciplinary staff.
- Educate patients and families regarding labor, delivery, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical record documentation.
- Float to appropriate Women's Services units as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Minimum 3 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
- Experience using Cerner EMR.
- Current BLS Certification (AHA).
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA).
- Current Advanced NRP Certification.
- Current AWHONN Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Certification.
- Current AWHONN Maternal Fetal Triage Index (MFTI) Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Experience in high-volume Labor & Delivery units.
