Luminous Dental Spa is a luxury, high-end dental practice in the MacArthur Medical Campus. We've built a Seoul-inspired dental home where clinical precision meets a calm, spa-like patient experience — and we're looking for a Dental Assistant to join us
Who you are
You're calm, capable, and detail-oriented chairside, and you're just as polished and warm when you're behind the front desk. You don't see clinical and administrative work as separate lanes — you see the whole patient experience as one job, and you take pride in doing both well. You adapt easily and genuinely like the variety.
What you'll do
Chairside / Clinical:
- Provide chairside assisting for a wide range of procedures — restorative, cosmetic, hygiene support, and more
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and sterilization to the highest standard
- Take and process digital X-rays and intraoral scans
- Educate patients on post-op care and treatment plans with warmth and clarity
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Front Office:
- Greet and check patients in/out with warmth and professionalism
- Assist with scheduling, confirmations, and recall
- Help answer patient calls, texts, and emails when the front desk needs support
- Assist with basic insurance verification and patient paperwork
- Help keep Open Dental records accurate and up to date
What we're looking for
Must-haves:
- Current California RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) status or equivalent, in good standing
- Valid Radiation Safety (X-ray) certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Comfortable and confident both chairside and at the front desk
- Strong communication skills and a polished, professional presence that matches our brand
- Reliable, adaptable, and genuinely enjoys variety in a workday
Big pluses (but not required):
- Familiarity with Open Dental
- Prior experience in a cosmetic or luxury dental practice
- Working knowledge of dental insurance (PPO verification, benefits, billing)
- CEREC / same-day crown experience
