- Join our team helping customers find the right furniture by style and brand. You’ll keep the sales floor organized, assist shoppers with product knowledge, and deliver excellent customer service with a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and help them find furniture by style, brand, size, and budget
- Offer product knowledge on furniture styles, materials, and brands
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor and displays
- Assist with merchandising and restocking as needed
- Process basic sales tasks and support checkout when required
- Handle customer questions and resolve issues professionally
- Collaborate with team members to meet store goals and deliver great service
Qualifications:
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills
- Interest or experience in furniture, home decor, or retail sales preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (weekends/holidays as needed)
- Ability to lift moderate weight and stand for long periods
- Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work outside
- has to be able to move heavy items
- has to be able to keep up with fast moving work
- has to be able to handle a stressful environment
Compensation:
Pay will be discussed during the hiring process.
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments where customer service is key
- Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in team settings or training new staff
- Strong communication skills to engage customers confidently and clearly explain product features or store policies
- Experience with merchandising, product demos, upselling techniques, and stock management will set you apart
- Knowledge of phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills are critical for creating positive interactions with shoppers
