The overnight housekeeping team plays a critical role in ensuring the lounge is fully reset, sanitized, and operationally ready for guests each morning while maintaining Plaza Premium Group cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deep cleaning of all guest-facing and back-of-house areas, including seating areas, dining spaces, restrooms, kitchen support areas, offices, storage rooms, and employee break areas.
- Vacuuming of all carpeted surfaces, including under furniture, corners, and high-traffic areas.
- Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, and maintaining all hard floor surfaces.
- Operation of heavy-duty janitorial equipment, including commercial vacuums, floor scrubbers, floor polishers, extractors, and other specialized cleaning equipment.
- Completion of floor care programs, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, and detailed floor restoration as needed.
- Cleaning and sanitizing all restroom fixtures, partitions, sinks, mirrors, floors, and high-touch surfaces to company and health standards.
- Detailed dusting and cleaning of furniture, millwork, walls, vents, fixtures, artwork, glass surfaces, and hard-to-reach areas.
- Removal and disposal of trash, recycling, and waste materials in accordance with airport and company procedures.
- Cleaning and sanitizing of food service areas, beverage stations, coffee machines, refrigerators, counters, and guest-use equipment.
- Spot cleaning of walls, doors, windows, partitions, upholstery, and other surfaces throughout the lounge.
- Performing project-based cleaning assignments such as carpet extraction, grout cleaning, high dusting, furniture movement, and equipment detailing.
- Identifying maintenance concerns and reporting facility issues that may impact safety, cleanliness, or guest experience.
- Maintaining janitorial closets, chemical inventories, cleaning supplies, and equipment in an organized condition.
- Following all safety procedures, chemical handling requirements, OSHA guidelines, and company sanitation standards.
- Completing assigned cleaning checklists, inspections, and documentation to ensure accountability and consistency.
Schedule & Staffing StructureThe overnight operation typically runs (varies) between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM, depending on operational requirements and flight activity.
All employees are expected to provide operational support across both locations, PPF and PPL. Although the position may be assigned to one specific area administratively, all personnel will be required to actively support and oversee operations on both sides as business needs require.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1-year relevant experience
- Good command of both spoken and written English
- Spanish, or additional language(s) is an advantage
- Basic Computer Operation Knowledge
- Attentive to details
- Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Positive ‘can do’ attitude, independent with good efficiency
- Present good team player with good grooming standard
- Shift duty is required, available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings,
- Available weekends, nights and/or holidays
