Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide comprehensive support and personalized care to individuals in their own residences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home health, senior care, or assisted living environments, with a passion for enhancing clients' quality of life through attentive and respectful caregiving. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by assisting with daily activities, health monitoring, and emotional support within a home setting.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and observe for any changes in health status, reporting findings accurately.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Support medication reminders in accordance with care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and confidentiality.
- Utilize patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques to ensure safe mobility assistance.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and respectful relationship with clients.
- Assist with transportation for medical appointments, social outings, or community activities to promote engagement and independence.
Requirements
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care—including Alzheimer’s and memory care.
- Proficiency in patient monitoring.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and manual handling tasks required for patient transfer methods.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation of care activities.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality within home & community care settings.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
