Morrison Industrial Equipment is looking for an experienced Field Service Forklift Mechanic to join our Elkhart branch.
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st Shift | 40 hours a week, with opportunity for overtime
Pay: Starts at $23/hour, negotiable based upon experience

About the Job
A Field Service Technician travels locally to customers, using a company van, to perform the repair and maintenance on a variety of material handling equipment
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair fork trucks (and other equipment)
- Complete work orders and communicate service needs
- Provide professional customer service
- Keep work van clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of repair experience (forklifts, automotive, or similar industry)
- Valid driver's license (3+ years driving history)
- Basic computer & tablet skills
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs.
- Own tools or qualify for our Tools-for-Techs Program
Pre-employment Requirements: Consideration for any position will require a drug screening, including marijuana, as well as a physical and a background check
No tools, no problem! Our “Tools for Technicians” program provides all the tools you need upon onboarding. It’s an 18-month program and when completed the tools are property of the tech! Throughout the training we offer multiple opportunities to gain certifications and put money in your pocket that can be used for more/new tools
