Join the Team: Journeyman Electrician – Commercial
Texas Strong Electric LLC is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing commercial division serving San Marcos and the Central Texas area.

⚡ What You’ll Do
· Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems.
· Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications.
· Install conduit (EMT, RMC, PVC), conductors, panels, switchgear, lighting, and branch circuits.
· Perform service work, tenant finish-outs, remodels, and new construction.
· Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs efficiently.
· Plan and organize daily work while meeting project schedules.
· Lead and mentor Apprentice Electricians, ensuring quality workmanship and safe work practices.
· Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, inspectors, and project managers.
· Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
· Licensing: Current State of Texas Journeyman Electrician License required.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of commercial electrical experience preferred.
· Leadership: Ability to supervise apprentices and work independently with minimal oversight.
· Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities and proficiency in reading plans and specifications.
· Transportation: Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
· Integrity: Must pass a comprehensive background check.
· Work Ethic: Reliable, organized, detail-oriented, and committed to quality craftsmanship.
· Professionalism: Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a customer-first mindset.
