Silver Oak Rehab is looking for a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will help create a positive, engaging environment for our residents by supporting daily activities and programs that promote socialization, independence, and overall well-being.
Schedule:
Thursday, Friday, and weekends required
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and leading group and one-on-one activities
- Engage residents in recreational, social, and therapeutic programs
- Encourage participation and build meaningful relationships with residents
- Help set up, lead, and clean up activities and events
- Transport residents to and from activities as needed
- Document participation and report any concerns to the Activities Director
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in activities, healthcare, or customer service preferred
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Compassion for working with elderly and rehabilitation populations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and flexible with scheduling
