Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Director of Nursing to lead our Skilled Nursing Facility’s nursing team. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing administration, management, and clinical expertise, with a passion for fostering a positive, patient-centered environment. As a leader in our facility, you will drive quality improvement initiatives, mentor staff, and ensure that our residents receive compassionate and comprehensive care every day.
Duties
- Lead and manage the nursing department, including supervising nursing staff and coordinating shift coverage to ensure seamless resident care delivery
- Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans for residents in accordance with medical directives and regulatory standards
- Oversee the accurate documentation of medical records.
- Monitor clinical operations using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to maintain high-quality documentation review and data integrity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations while fostering a culture of safety, quality improvement, and resident satisfaction
Requirements
- Extensive experience in nursing home settings or skilled nursing facilities, including supervising teams of nurses and healthcare staff.
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems used within long-term care environments
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a focus on team development, supervision, and conflict resolution
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with residents’ families, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
