Overview:
Join the friendly West Texas State Bank as a Full-Time Bank Teller in our Lubbock location. We are seeking highly motivated and customer-oriented persons to join our bank. You will process financial transactions accurately while delivering professional experience. The ideal candidate has strong math and cash-handling skills, exceptional communication, and a passion for helping clients succeed financially.
Responsibilities:
- Process transactions accurately. Balance, reconcile and verify transactions and cash. Detect suspicious activity and prevent potential fraud.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, account openings, and loan applications.
- Promote banking products and services to meet customer needs.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and building lasting relationships through effective relationship management.
- Help other areas within the bank as needed or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in basic math, cash handling, cashiering, and 10 key typing skills.
- Knowledge of financial services including deposits, withdrawals, loans, and account management.
- Experience with financial software and basic accounting principles.
- Professional in appearance and great customer service skills.
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule and someone who is willing to grow and learn.
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
