Job Title: Quality Associate
Position Summary: To provide quality assurance support to the business and support the Production Manager and QHSE manager ensuring that all processes from raw material, in process production and finished products meet the required standard of quality and safety, and that the product is in accordance to what is specified in the purchasing documentation.
Key responsibilities:
· To ensure that tests are performed on all incoming goods by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and reporting unacceptable materials and that all the records are recorded accurately.
· Quality checks performed with consistency and integrity on a scheduled basis and as per special requirements for all production activities
· To operate measuring and testing equipment by following the standard operating procedures and reporting to your manager if there is a problem
· To provide assistance with customer complaint and non-conformance investigations to develop and implement corrective and preventative actions
· To provide assistance with internal audit processes
· Assistance with the preparation of datasheets and accurate recording of all checks performed
· Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
· Clear communication of all activities to ensure full understanding of outcome of tests performed and explanation of findings

Typical working hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, but may vary based on business needs. Flexibility is required.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
