Forest City Elementary School has an opening for a K-8 Special Education Certified teacher. Teachers should be endorsed in (260) Strat I or (259) K-12 Strat I & II, or have (102) K-6 Teaching License and be willing to get special education endorsed. Applicants willing to attain (260) or (259) endorsement may be eligible for reimbursement of the cost of additional courses and a longevity bonus depending upon the number of applicants.
Applicants should have the competencies to develop and implement individualized curriculum in accordance with each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP). Applicants will collaborate with team members to develop and execute an IEP-driven, multidisciplinary program for each student.
