Duties
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical diagnostics using schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule routine inspections.
- Repair and maintain industrial machinery such as conveyors, presses, mixers, and other production line equipment.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting with precision measuring instruments like ammeters and ohmmeters to diagnose faults accurately.
- Read electrical blueprints and schematics to facilitate effective repairs and modifications.
- Operate field service tools including scissor lifts and other elevated work platforms to access hard-to-reach areas safely.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility or industrial environment with a strong understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and low voltage testers.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R systems, and high voltage electrical systems.
- Skilled in welding ( welding preferred), electrical blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and equipment repair.
- Experience with industrial electrician tasks including electrical diagnostics, electrical maintenance, and working with low voltage systems.
- Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and perform field service tasks efficiently across the facility.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent analysis skills to diagnose issues quickly and accurately.
