Location: Main Campus, 110 Elwood Davis Road, Liverpool, NY
Duties: Serve as an independent, objective evaluator responsible for ensuring that expenditures are accurate and compliant with local and state policies and regulations prior to payment. Proactively identify and communicate items requiring correction or completion prior to payment. Utilize informed, independent judgement and analytical data to make sound fiscal decisions. Maintain accurate data pertaining to the auditing process to include in monthly Claims Auditor’s Report to the Board of Education. Meet with the Audit Committee and Board of Education as requested.
Qualifications: Technical proficiency with financial management software - preferably school district or public sector accounting system. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to analyze and explain complex financial and compliance matters. Demonstrated aptitude with Google products and spreadsheets required. Familiarity with standard business office practices and ability to quickly learn and apply state and local laws, policies and regulations. Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field preferred.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Pay: $47,605.00 - $53,959.00 per year
