The Role: The Service Technician will report to the Service Manager and will primarily be responsible for the service and repair of high-end home appliances (specifically hot tubs, saunas, swim spas, and cold plunge tubs). This role is ideal for an individual that enjoys being outside and working autonomously to solve problems.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at New England Spas. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing hot tubs, saunas, and related equipment at customer locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and service technician experience. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team committed to delivering outstanding customer service and technical excellence.
This position is primarily on the road, servicing the South Shore of Massachusetts based customers. This role requires the use of a company vehicle. Requires travel to Westborough, MA for training.
Duties
- Perform maintenance, and repair of hot tubs, saunas, swim spas and associated equipment at customer sites
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Diagnose problems accurately and recommend effective solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly
- Maintain accurate records of service visits, parts used, and work performed
- Assist with routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service appointments
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all service activities
Skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Proven experience in appliance repair or service technician roles preferred (on the job training is provided).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills combined with attention to detail
- Customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Proficiency in equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and diagnostic techniques
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
