Are you a detail-oriented professional with excellent phone skills and a knack for managing orders and inventory? Join our fast-paced, customer-oriented promotional company as an Order/Purchasing Clerk! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately ordering garments, tracking inventory, and ensuring smooth order processing to meet customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately order garments online, via email, and through phone conversations with vendors.
- Keep track of back orders and follow up on all orders to meet deadlines.
- Contact vendors to return items for credits as needed.
- Maintain accurate house and customer inventory records using Excel/Numbers.
- Keep sales staff informed of any inventory or shipping issues related to their orders.
- Answer phones, provide sales support, and assist staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
- Proficient in Excel/Numbers and Word.
- Excellent phone communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
