Job Summary
We are a freight forwarding company that delivers freight to and from San Pedro and Catalina Island on our barges.
We are looking for dependable, safety-driven Class A Driver to transport freight and manage the loading and unloading of cargo directly to and from our barges. Primarily a Yard Based driving position. You will ensure cargo is secured and distributed correctly while adhering to safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive & Position: Safely operate Class A vehicles in tight dock environments
- Load & Unload: Transfer heavy bulk materials between trucks and barges
- Equipment Operations: Utilize forklifts and material handling gear
- Secure Freight: Load flatbeds, strap, chain, and secure cargo
- Compliance: Complete thorough pre/post-trip truck inspections and maintain clean driving logs.
REQUIREMENTS
- License: Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record (MVR)
- Security: Must possess or be able to obtain a TWIC Card
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy loads and work outdoors
- Screening: Must pass a DOT physical and mandatory drug screen

Pay: $27.00 - $33.00 per hour
