Youth Care Specialist
Requirements:
At least 18 years of age
Valid Driver's License and a Clean Driving Record (no exceptions)
Experience: 2 year minimum working with kids with special needs
Education: HS diploma
CPR/First Aid Certified
Level 2 Background Check
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist youth with all activities of daily living, including those who may have special needs such as Autism.
- Monitor and document behaviors, incidents, medications, and daily progress accuratley and thoroughly.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and sanitary environment
- Assist youth with their transition into a safe living environment.
- Motivate and encourage youth to meet their goals, tailoring support to the unique needs of each individual.
Available Hours:
- Mondays - Sundays 4:00pm - 12:00am (8 hours, as needed)
- Saturdays and Sundays - 8:00am - 4:00pm (8 hours), 4pm - 8pm (4 hours)
- Thursdays - Sundays - 12:00am - 8:00am (8 hours)
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Application Question(s):
- Have you ever managed or de-escalated a behavioral crisis in a residential or youth care setting?
- Are you willing to work evening, overnight, or weekend shifts as needed?
- Are you comfortable assisting with cleaning tasks and helping maintain a safe and organized home environment?
- Do you have at least one year of experience working with children/teens with Autism or developmental disabilities that have severe behavioral challenges.
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)

- Caring for youth with Special needs: 2 years (Required)
