Job Title: Media Relations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Media Relations Manager to lead strategic communications and media engagement efforts. This role is responsible for overseeing all external communications, including press releases, media outreach, digital content, and social media. Acting as a spokesperson for the organization, the Media Relations Manager will ensure timely, accurate, and consistent messaging to the public and media. The ideal candidate will bring strong writing skills, crisis communication expertise, and the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure situations.
Draft, edit, and distribute press releases, media advisories, and internal communications.
Maintain and update media contact lists; manage outreach and distribution of press materials.
Monitor media coverage, prepare daily news summaries, and compile coverage reports.
Support content creation, scheduling, and community engagement across social media platforms.
Coordinate logistics for press conferences, public events, and internal meetings.
Assist in updating website content and developing marketing materials.
Respond to routine media inquiries or direct them to appropriate spokespersons.
Maintain organized communication files and documentation.
Conduct research to support messaging, briefings, and strategic communication planning.
2–3 years of experience in media relations, public affairs, digital communications, or a related field (internships may qualify).
Proven ability to write and edit professional, public-facing content.
Familiarity with major social media platforms (X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and scheduling tools.
Basic experience in event planning or coordination is an advantage.
