The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to support the reliability, performance, and continuous operation of EPD's manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This role serves as a technical leader responsible for troubleshooting complex equipment issues, coordinating preventive maintenance activities, mentoring technicians, and improving equipment reliability.

What You'll Do
Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair PLC-controlled machinery, automation systems, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
- Perform advanced maintenance on laser cutting systems, punch machines, press brakes, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions that improve reliability and reduce downtime.
- Support equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Preventive Maintenance & Reliability
- Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
- Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain maintenance records, service documentation, and equipment history.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure maintenance readiness and minimize downtime.
Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and train Maintenance Technicians while sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
- Assist with assigning daily maintenance priorities and supporting departmental objectives.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning throughout the maintenance team.
- Support a culture focused on safety, reliability, and operational excellence.
Facility Maintenance & Safety
- Perform and oversee facility maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs.
- Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and maintenance equipment safely.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while participating in safety audits and training.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, Mechatronics, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced knowledge of PLC controls, automation systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience performing preventive maintenance and improving equipment reliability.
- Ability to work independently while mentoring and supporting other technicians.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while performing maintenance activities and facility inspections.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to lift bulky or awkwardly shaped items weighing up to 35 pounds from floor level or above shoulder height.
- Ability to safely perform team lifts for heavier or awkward materials.
- Ability to work effectively in varying environmental conditions, including heat and cold exposure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift Operator Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days.
- OSHA General Industry Safety and PLC Programming/Troubleshooting certifications preferred.
- Experience maintaining laser cutting systems, punch machines, press brakes, and automated manufacturing equipment.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance and reliability-centered maintenance practices.
- Experience mentoring maintenance personnel or leading maintenance projects.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
