About Us
Rainbow Restoration of Webster is a growing restoration company serving the greater Houston area. We specialize in water, fire, and mold mitigation for both residential and commercial clients. Our residential division handles a large volume of insurance claims through TPA programs and national corporate accounts, and we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to help lead those projects.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Restoration Project Manager to oversee residential mitigation projects from first notice of loss through completion. This role requires strong communication with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and field crews, along with the ability to write accurate Xactimate/Symbility estimates and manage projects according to insurance program SLAs.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for project oversight, documentation, estimating, and maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Manage residential water, fire, and mold mitigation projects from start to finish
- Coordinate crews, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure efficient job progress
- Conduct site inspections and determine scope of damage
- Ensure projects follow IICRC standards and industry best practices
- Monitor project timelines to ensure TPA and corporate account SLA compliance
Estimating & Documentation
- Write mitigation and reconstruction estimates using Xactimate/Symbility
- Upload job documentation to insurance portals and TPA platforms
- Maintain accurate job files including photos, moisture logs, sketches, and reports
- Ensure estimates align with carrier guidelines and program requirements
Customer & Insurance Communication
- Serve as the primary contact for homeowners during restoration projects
- Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding scope, approvals, and progress
- Manage homeowner expectations and provide clear project updates
Operational Leadership
- Schedule and direct field crews
- Ensure proper drying equipment placement and mitigation procedures
- Conduct quality control inspections throughout the job lifecycle
- Track job progress and coordinate with office staff for billing and invoicing
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in restoration project management
- Experience managing residential insurance restoration projects
- Proficient with Xactimate and Symbility estimating software
- Strong knowledge of water, fire, and mold mitigation processes
- Familiarity with TPA programs and insurance carrier requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Certifications
- IICRC WRT (Water Restoration Technician)
- IICRC ASD (Applied Structural Drying)
- IICRC AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician)
