Prevention Nurse
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN or RN to join our healthcare team. This nurse will do:
Skin Integrity and Infection Prevention
This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise, leadership skills, and passion for healthcare in a dynamic environment committed to excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical care in assisted living, Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing.
This nurse will use Point Click Care to document, do assessments, and log all risk prevention information.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across various units including Assisted Living, Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet each neighbor's unique needs.
- Supervise and mentor CNA's, CMT's, LPN's and RN's in adherence to clinical standards and fostering a positive team environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records using Point Click Care while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in IDT and QAPI and work with DON and other nursing team members to ensure a level of excellence in all areas of Risk Prevention.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license with current registration in Missouri.
- Proven experience in assisted living, Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing.
- Demonstrated supervisory or nurse management experience with leadership capabilities in nursing teams.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.
- Technical proficiency with Point Click Care.
- Excellent communication skills paired with the ability to handle high-pressure situations efficiently.
