Starting Pay: $35.50/hour or piece rate

Essential Duties:
The essential functions of the HVAC Lead Installer are to serve the customers of the company by installing heating and air conditioning systems with an emphasis on quality installations, performed efficiently and following all applicable local and national codes. Maintain a reputation for quality installations, as well as keeping the customer informed of what is being done as well as when and how it will be done.
The HVAC Lead Installer works as part of a dynamic and passionate team, demonstrating technical competency and exceeding customer expectations. They will work with the Install Department Manager and Field Supervisor to complete the job on time and under budget, helping achieve the Company financial goals. The Lead Installation Technician will help educate and groom Installation Apprentices to move into a Lead role.
Responsibilities:
- Complete all HVAC system installations efficiently and accurately; make customers happy.
- Know how to establish customer rapport to ensure highest levels of satisfaction.
- Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
- Complete all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner Ensure jobs are properly staged; sign off on job quality checklist.
- Maintain the equipment and inventory in your truck for maximum efficiency.
- Operate Company Vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
- Work alongside customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.
- Adhere to the company’s plan for resolving customer complaints quickly and favorably.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe job site.
- Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and technical vendor training.
- Train and mentor apprentices to ensure on-time, high-quality installations.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience HVAC
- Excellent Customer Interaction Skills
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
