Electrical Equipment Service Technician
Esch Construction Supply, Inc. is a Fair Chance Employer and is looking for a 1st shift Equipment Technician to join our service team. This position will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical construction tools and specialty equipment.
No nights, no weekends with tools and training provided.
The ideal candidate will have strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting abilities, experience working with handheld power equipment, and a willingness to learn the products and equipment we service.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues on construction tools and equipment
- Troubleshoot wiring, switches, motors, charging systems, and electrical components
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs
- Read schematics and use diagnostic equipment
- Communicate repair findings and parts needs with staff and customers
- Maintain organized workspaces and accurate repair records
- Assist with general service department operations as needed

This role specializes in diagnosing and repairing professional-grade construction equipment and electrical tools, including:
- Metabo handheld grinders and power tools
- FEIN MultiTools and specialty equipment
- Husqvarna core drills and construction equipment
- Rebar Max tying tools
- Additional construction and contractor equipment lines carried and serviced by Esch Construction Supply
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum 1+ year of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experiencce
- Experience with power tools, construction equipment, or repair work is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of this position, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
