We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety New Hire Trainer to join our team in Hinton, VA. Assigned areas of responsibility will include MST, Breast Trim and Bulk Pack . The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive safety training programs to new employees, ensuring they understand and comply with all company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct safety orientation and training sessions for new hires.
- Develop and update training materials to reflect current safety standards and regulations.
- Ensure all new employees complete required safety certifications and documentation.
- Collaborate with safety managers and supervisors to identify training needs and improve safety programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities and employee progress.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Proven experience in safety training or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry safety standards or willingness to learn..
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate new employees.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and training software.
