Duties
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory control.
- Support and guide warehouse associates, forklift operators, and material handlers.
- Assign and help coordinate daily work tasks and monitor basic productivity.
- Assist in training and onboarding new team members.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.
- Help maintain inventory accuracy and support cycle counts.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.
- Report and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Track basic performance metrics such as productivity and attendance.
- Communicate with production, transportation, and management teams.
- Use warehouse systems (WMS/ERP) for data entry and reporting support.
Experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Previous warehouse experience required; leadership experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Willingness to learn supervisory and team leadership responsibilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
