Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kennel tech/ Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for animal care and excellent customer service skills. Shift starts at 8am doing kennel work, then covers for reception at 2:30pm to close.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning around the facility to keep to standards
- Medicating animals as needed
- Letting dogs out/walking them to go to the bathroom
- Feeding animal while boarding
- Cleaning Kennels
- Assist with animal restraint when necessary
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and professional attitude
- Schedule appointments
- Answer phone calls, text, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Experience:
- Previous experience in animal care or veterinary settings is preferred
- Front desk or customer service experience is desirable
Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, and Friday ranging 8am-5:45pm (sometimes later if needed)
- Weekends and Holidays as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
