We are looking to hire a qualified day care director to manage our day to day operations and establish and sustain a positive learning environment for children. You will oversee the coordination of education programs that comply with local and federal regulations, ensure that facilities are maintained, as well as manage and support a complement of daycare staff. Early childhood development experience is a plus.

Education and experience requirements:
*Graduation from an accredited four year college or a registered nurse with less than a four year degree AND a minimum of one year full time experience with children in a group setting
or
*Thirty six credit hours of college coursework at least thirty hours of which shall be in business or management, child or youth development, early childhood education or closely related field, or a Tennessee Early Childhood Administrator Credential AND a minimum of two years of full time experience with children in a full time setting
or
*High school diploma (or equivalent as recognized by state law), and Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance certificate for completing thirty clock hours of the Administrator Orientation training or the equivalent as recognized by the Department AND a minimum of 4 years of full time experience with children in a group setting
or
*Continuously employed as an on-site child care director or a child care agency owner since July 1, 2000
