Responsibilities:
- Provide a wide range of beauty services to clients, including haircuts, hair styling, coloring, braiding, crochet braids, hair extensions, and basic salon services.
- Stay up-to-date with current beauty trends and techniques to ensure high-quality service.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and desired outcomes.
- Recommend and sell beauty products to clients based on their needs and preferences.
- Upsell additional services or products to enhance the client's experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
-Perform tasks related to general office duties.
-Perform other duties as assigned by management.
-Attending mandatory 1 on 1 and quarterly meetings.
Qualifications:
- Valid cosmetology license.
- Proven experience as a cosmetologist or hairstylist.
- Proficiency in a wide range of beauty services, including haircuts, styling, coloring, braiding, crochet braids, hair extensions, and basic salon services.
- Knowledge basic math and professional hair care products for retailing.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment or independatly as needed.
- Willingness to mentor junior cosmetologists, apprentices or assistants.
