Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Excavation Foreman with at least five years of hands-on experience in excavation site management. In this role, you will lead excavation teams to execute projects efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will be the key point of contact on-site, supervising daily operations. and maintaining clear communication across all team members.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate excavation activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and schematics.
- Lead and manage excavation crews, providing clear instructions and fostering a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Able to be hands on and boots on the ground performing all aspects of the project.
- Operate equipment when necessary. Must be a proficient excavator operator.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide excavation processes accurately.
- Oversee quality control measures, ensuring all work meets specified standards and contractual requirements.
- Enforce safety protocols rigorously, including the use of OSHA guidelines and proper supervision during heavy equipment operation such as pipelines or other heavy machinery.
- Qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ experience in excavation supervision within the construction industry.
- Proven management skills with a track record of supervising excavation crews effectively.
- Strong knowledge of construction site safety practices including OSHA regulations.
- Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation
- Communication skills to coordinate among teams and customers efficiently.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
