Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This position requires a nurturing attitude and the ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities as well as other health challenges.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor and document vital signs and changes in clients' conditions through patient observation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by following health and safety protocols.
- Must be able to follow training for proper use of Hoyer lift, and other safety equipment. As well as using proper body mechanics to maintain a safe working environment. One of the members is 300+ lbs and it is crucial to follow all safety training.
- Respond promptly to client needs and emergencies while adhering to first aid procedures when required.
Skills
- Experience in caregiving or home health settings is preferred.
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills for monitoring client conditions and reporting changes accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Experience using Hoyer lifts, and other safety equipment. (Or willing to learn how to properly use these items)
- Valid Driver's License is required for this position
- Must be able to start right away

-We are looking to full time, 40 hours a week. The shift is Sunday- Thursday nights, 10pm-6am.
-Payday is every Friday! Direct deposit pay!
