Responsibilities
- Greet clients and their pets warmly, providing outstanding customer service with a lively and professional demeanor
- Schedule grooming appointments efficiently, managing the store’s booking system with precision.
- Assist pet owners with inquiries about grooming services, pet care tips, and store products
- Handle pet check-ins and check-outs, ensuring animals are comfortable and safe during their visit
- Maintain cleanliness of entire store daily, and organization of the reception area, including handling pet-related supplies and paperwork
- Support grooming staff by preparing pets for grooming sessions through animal handling and restraint when necessary, bathing when needed.
- Manage phone calls, emails, and walk-in customers promptly to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to client interactions
- Experience in pet grooming or animal handling, including dog training and pet sitting
- Ability to handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques; experience with dog handling and animal care is essential
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting of supplies or animals when needed. at least 50 pounds
- Familiarity with kennel or pet sitting environments enhances your ability to care for animals effectively
