The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures with a primary focus on cardiac Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT / SPECT/CT) and cardiac Positron Emission Tomography (PET / PET/CT). The role includes preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, operating advanced imaging systems, ensuring radiation safety, processing images, and supporting patient care during stress testing and imaging studies under the direction of a physician or authorized user.
