Compensation
$70,000 - $90,000 annually

What You'll Be Responsible For
As a Garage Door Technician, you'll be responsible for providing homeowners with an exceptional experience from the initial repair or installation through project completion.
Responsibilities include:
- Garage door installation and replacement
- Garage door opener installation
- Diagnosing garage door issues and recommending repairs
- Spring replacement
- Roller and cable replacement
- Track and hardware repairs
- Weather seal replacement
- General garage door maintenance and service
- Communicating professionally with homeowners throughout the project
- Maintaining a clean and organized work vehicle
- Completing project documentation and photos
Bonus Skills (Not Required)
We're especially interested in candidates who can both sell and install.
If you're comfortable:
- Diagnosing problems
- Providing repair options
- Measuring openings
- Ordering materials
- Closing repair or replacement opportunities
If not, our Sales Team is happy to support that side of the business while you focus on delivering outstanding installations and repairs.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate has:
- 2-5 years of garage door installation or repair experience (preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Outstanding customer communication
- Strong time management
- Ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Applicants should provide their own basic hand tools.
Overhead Solutions will provide:
