Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Radiologic Technologist, where your expertise in medical imaging and patient care will make a vital difference. In this role, you will operate advanced radiologic imaging equipment to produce images that assist physicians in procedures. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with Interventional Radiologists and other procedure room staff to provide exceptional, patient-centered care. Your proficiency in diverse imaging modalities and commitment to radiation safety will ensure accurate diagnostics while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment including fluoroscopy and Ultrasound
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, ensuring their comfort, and applying proper positioning techniques based on detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Implement radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure during all imaging processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and ensure all medical images meet quality standards for diagnostic purposes.
- Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques during invasive procedures to prevent infections and ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, fluoroscopy units, CT scanners, PET scanners, mammography units, DEXA scanners, and nuclear medicine devices.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation safety protocols effectively.
- Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) required; additional certifications a plus
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations.
- Knowledge of medical equipment operation including fluoroscopy units, nuclear medicine cameras, interventional radiology tools, and other advanced imaging systems.

Pay: $73,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
