- Collaborate with families, schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate services and support systems.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws by documenting concerns related to child abuse or neglect promptly and accurately.
- Offer culturally competent services that respect diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and family dynamics.
- Maintain detailed case records, monitor progress, and adjust intervention strategies as needed for optimal outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children, individuals with disabilities, or families within social services settings.
- Strong knowledge of child welfare practices, childhood development, family law, and child protective services protocols.
- Skilled in crisis management, crisis intervention techniques, and conflict resolution strategies.
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and confidentiality standards related to social work practice.
- Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse populations effectively.
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
- Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity when working with clients from varied backgrounds.
- Experience in case management software or documentation systems used in social services environments.
