Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Automotive Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components.
- Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics skills to execute repairs efficiently.
- Work with automotive service data and auto estimating software to document repairs and communicate with customers effectively.
- Repair ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, and other specialized automotive electrical systems.
- Follow dealership procedures for auto body repair when necessary and ensure all work complies with safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a strong background in dealership settings preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair, and electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, transmissions, heavy equipment mechanics, and powertrain components.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals for complex repairs.
- Familiarity with automotive suspension system repair, wheel alignment techniques, tire service, shocks & struts replacement.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Valid certifications or training related to automotive electrical systems, diesel mechanics, or GM vehicles are a plus.
