Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience and promote beverage sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Develop and refine beverage recipes to keep offerings fresh, innovative, and aligned with guest preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; place orders as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the bar management team to uphold service standards, implement promotions, and ensure compliance with licensing regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume hospitality settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficiency in cashiering and basic math for transactions.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple orders efficiently.
- Demonstrated cocktail experience with knowledge of beverage recipe development and presentation techniques.
- Familiarity with wine knowledge, craft beer varieties, brewing processes, and food handling safety protocols.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous bar management or supervisory experience is desirable but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential.
