About the Role
As an Industrial Facilities Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our production environment by maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing heavy-duty machinery. You will contribute to our operational success by proactively managing equipment health and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities-
Execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of critical production assets.

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to keep operations running smoothly.

Support the upkeep of complex systems, including CNC machinery, material handling equipment, and overhead cranes.

Perform fabrication and repair tasks using specialized tools and welding equipment to maintain facility infrastructure.

Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure accurate equipment assembly and repair.

Maintain a high standard of workplace organization and safety compliance to foster a productive environment.

Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement process improvements that drive operational excellence.
Qualifications-
Strong mechanical aptitude with a genuine interest in industrial systems and troubleshooting.

Proficiency in the safe operation of hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and plumbing diagrams.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and working at heights.

Prior experience in an industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or steel processing environment.
