About the Role
As a Field Service Trailer Technician, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering expert on-site maintenance and repair solutions for trailers, chassis, and containers. You will leverage your mechanical expertise to ensure equipment reliability and safety, acting as a trusted representative in the field.
Responsibilities-
Execute comprehensive troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, including brake systems, tire services, and electrical diagnostics.

Conduct mandatory FHWA inspections to ensure full regulatory compliance for all serviced equipment.

Perform structural repairs and patching to maintain watertight integrity for trailers and containers.

Utilize welding equipment and cutting torches to complete high-quality repairs on chassis and sub-frames.

Manage service documentation and data entry through maintenance software to ensure accurate record-keeping.

Maintain the operational readiness and cleanliness of your assigned service vehicle and specialized tools.

Foster strong professional relationships with customers by providing consistent, high-quality technical support.
Qualifications-
High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in semi-trailer maintenance or equivalent technical training.

Proficiency in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Strong commitment to workplace safety and operational integrity.

Experience with ABS diagnostic systems.

Advanced proficiency in welding and metal fabrication techniques.

Demonstrated ability to work independently in diverse field environments.

Strong organizational skills for managing mobile inventory and work orders.
