Support the mentor teacher and grade-level team in supervision, instruction, and preparation.
1. Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment
2. Perform duties in a professional manner
3. Establish rapport with staff and students
4. Monitor students individually and in small groups
5. Support recess and lunch supervision as needed
6. Create lesson plans or class activities in accordance with district-approved curriculum
7. Prepare projects or activities
8. Introduce lesson segments
9. Read aloud to students
10. Provide small group instruction
11. Create classroom displays
12. Photocopy and laminate as needed
13. Set up classroom technology
14. Escort students
15. Help set up and arrange the classroom
16. Maintain confidentiality
17. Participate in faculty meetings and other relevant meetings (department head, grade level, subject area, etc.).
18. Such other duties as may be determined by the administrative staff within parameters of the master agreement, Board of Education policies, state statutes, and administrative rules.
Other Responsibilities:

Policy 4122.01 - Drug-free Workplace throughout his/her employment in the district.
