Are you a skilled warehouse professional who thrives when working independently? We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Reach Truck Operator to manage our 2nd shift operations.
In this role, you won't just be moving pallets—you will be the anchor of our evening warehouse operations. Because you will be working independently without other warehouse staff present during this shift, we are looking for a trustworthy professional who takes pride in ownership, exercises excellent judgment, and proactively works for the betterment of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate a reach truck to stage, store, and retrieve products from high-bay racking.
- Inventory & Scanning: Utilize RF scanners to scan barcodes, track inventory movements, and update the warehouse management system accurately.
- Logistics Management: Load and unload shipments, verify product counts, and ensure inventory is placed in its correct location.
- Independent Oversight: Manage the warehouse space during the evening shift, ensuring facility security and operational continuity.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Take initiative to resolve minor logistical hitches and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Position RequirementsPlease Note: Proven experience operating a reach truck and proficiency with RF scanners are strict requirements for this position. Applicants without this experience will not be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of dedicated reach truck operation experience.
- Technical Skill: Demonstrated experience and comfort using RF scanners for inventory tracking and warehouse management.
- Autonomy & Initiative: Ability to work alone with minimal supervision, stay on task, and manage time effectively.
- Background Check: Because this position requires solo access to our facility, passing a standard background check is a condition of employment.
