. As an Industrial Painter, you will apply industrial grade paint to sandblasted steel beams and other items related to large custom engineered lifting machines used in marine and industrial applications and shipped worldwide.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare surfaces by removing dirt, rust, grease, and old paint using tools such as scrapers, sanders, and power washers
- Apply protective coatings using various methods such as a brush, roller, and spray gun.
- Mix and match paint colors and coatings to achieve specified color or texture.
- Dispose of unused paint appropriately by following all safety regulations and guidelines
- All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned
Job Qualifications
- Previous Industrial painting experience using conventional or airless systems preferred
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to wear a full body garment and be able to be fitted for and wear a respirator
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
