As a Construction Laborer, you will assist skilled tradespeople in executing high-quality work while gaining valuable experience across various construction disciplines. Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to support shell,, masonry, fabricated installations, and other trades
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently under supervision
- Support concrete work through mixing, pouring, and finishing activities
- Install rebar, forms and excavations
- Perform selective demo for various trades
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and inspecting tools and equipment regularly
Requirements
- Prior experience on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction is advantageous
- Ability to operate power tools, concrete cutting tools, heavy equipment, and perform welding or masonry work is a plus
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience or certification is beneficial for site travel or material transport
