Duties
- Maintain flower beds, shrubbery, and landscaped areas through planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, and edging to ensure vibrant and tidy outdoor spaces
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks such as trimming, digging, aerating, and soil preparation
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including debris removal, bed edging, and seasonal cleanup to uphold aesthetic standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in horticulture, gardening, landscaping or related fields such as farming or agriculture is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) safely and effectively
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions; ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects and perform manual labor throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining plant health and landscape aesthetics
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaborative efforts in landscape maintenance projects
